Dream revolution ...

Think it's time to wake up , change a different dreams, When I first did a career switch to follow my passion , being able to work oversea , learn different things and maybe becoming @ least a known chef in Singapore , ha ha , but I guess I am drifting away from that , for one , age is catching up , in this line , experience n exposure matters alot. How am I, turing 32yo , completing with others who are like 10yrs younger ? Life had been very good to me , looking back , I had no complaints , or rather I can't complaint. As the quote , everything happens for a reason. I just need to find that reason for all these.
Got another email asking me about at-Sunrice 's DIPB , really glad to be able to answer and help , currently 3 so far , hope to be able to help more , either myself or referring them to my juniors, also am very glad all of them are very willing to help one another. As i maybe had mentioned , help was given to me when i was once lost in choosing school as well, someone helped me along the way and thus I am paying it forward, and hopefully all those I helped will do the same , do keep in contact with me , and when the need for you guys/gals to pay it forward, I will let you ppl know, Let's all be a happy family of DIPB :) ( ha if only my school know how much i am helping LOL ) Think they be super duper surprise ? or maybe they will give me an award for it , ha ha . Can;t wait for my Grad in June .... hoping Arjun will come back then we can go Manbo again LOL.

17th Dec - My last day of school in at-Sunrice , finally after 15 mths , how times files .... I still remember my very first day there ... it all just seems yesterday. Anyway we had our final end of term exam .... to write out a recipe out of 10 , by lucky draw ... and pulling sugar to do a showpiece. Very happy that finally my showpiece after 3 tries over the week , it finally able to stand up and present it the way i wanted. We had a mini celebration after that and some drink n stuffs :) 3 "awards" was given out 1) The Loudest - Esther , 2) Best Smile - Yj and 3) Most Mischivious - ME , ha ha ...

18th Dec - On the way to work , my bike kena BANG by a cab , hurt my back a bit , went to the doc but doc he never even check , just gave some pain killer and ask to KIV , dunno how to claim from the Cabby now. Think my luck is really going down on me. All the unhappy things have to all happen @ the same time. Just hope the pain is temperory. Hopefully some thigns good will come my way soon ....

P/s : Could have celebrate the fruit of my labour with you but you were gone from my life .... Just wanna say , if you are reading this , Thanks for the Support and Help you have given me for making me to follow my passion and dreams.

What a day ... ... ...

Today supposed to be a very good day cos we had a guest speaker - Mr Pierre Herme for Home Coming. But sigh turns out it just happen to be one of my EMO day. Firstly , usually if we performed well in our exams, though just a piece of useless printed paper but to me ... since i got that for Term 1 ,,,, I was thinking why not just do my best try to collect all 5 ( cos total i only got 5 terms) BUT .. though i managed to get A+ for all my subjects , I did not get that 2pid paper :( and worst my daughter is getting better and catching up ... of cos i jealous but i happy for her , cos this shows that she will not be depress and say wans to quit skool anymore :P But I am still sad and angry for myself , cos I like to collect things in SETs ,,,, now this cannot be complete liao. Sigh.

Secondly is that , I wanted to ask Mr PH some questions regarding his books BUT did not get the chance :( Reasons ? ... First question was ask by my classmate ... so LL cos she more high profile ... 2nd .. before i could raised my hands , there is this 2pid guy , who is not even student of the skool , think is some staffs from some partners ... somemore ask in FRENCH wor .... chey ... take up my chances , thick skinned , then ask Mr PH about seafood with chocolate ... oh pls why dun you try yourself ? y ask Mr PH ? and what ? seafood in garnache ??? oh pls .... 2pid !!! And the last one ? was given to my classmates again just bcos LADIES first ? WATEVER !!!! pissed me off ..... I been waiting for the chance for the whole weeks !!! and dig out my info also just in case i ask wrongly !!! and there it was busted !!!! SAD

To make myself feels better , I decided to go Pine Gardens @ AMK to try their cakes cos been hearing about them but no chance , the pics on top are 4 cakes I bought ... but a bit disappointed though. 1) Black Forest - Nothing special, quite a lot of cherries BUT all flatten one, chocolate taste normal, not much kirsch (if there is any), 2) Orange Zest Chocolate - The orange layer zest smell nice when eat separate but if you eat together with the chocolate layer, it will cover the taste of the orange zest, 3) Lychee Martini - supposed to be good cos was listed as one of Top Singapore 50 Cakes by ST last sunday. but to me ... just normal, nice to have the puree in the layers and can taste of the martini but maybe becos it just a neighborhood cake shop, things use in the cake is very normal , nothing very special and if your expectation is higher, otherwise not too bad, 4)Strawberry Mousses - nice try , top jelly , center sponge and cream. 3 different texture BUT , they dun even glaze their strawberry ... very disappointed also the jelly would be better if stronger in flavour or maybe there should be some lemon or something to bring out the flat taste of just strawberry. I might not visit there again cos to me , it;s not too bad but ok ok only for a neighborhood cake shop. But saw their new menu ... they had a Bird nest cake ... and think with apple mousses or something ... that kinda of interest me :P till then .... Sigh not feeling much better cos those some sweet and nice cake might makes me feel better ... BUT yet again disappointed by MEDIA !!!

First day in at-Sunrice

First day at school ( at-Sunrice ).... alot to write but kinda of tired now ,,,, so in summary ....
1) suay ... rain when i reach DG MRT so had to run up
2) hot .... was sweating like dunno what
3) boring ... the orentation was kinda of dry @ times
4) cheap ... went suntec to get some stuff ( socks + white Tshirt)
5) wait ... wait for bus long long
6) kena chop ... 2pid clinic below charge me $35 for injection ...
Till i got more engery to type ... * DVD mode *

A new begining ?

Today i finally step into at-Sunrice for a tour around the school ... quite nervous as after few weeks of emailing and asking ard ... finally i had made a decision .... They staffs there were friendly and show me and mimi around the school .... But quite surprise that she notice my "pinky" ha ha guess was too long to not to be notice ... anyway told her that i really need to know asap cos i will need to send my reply to my workplace cos sigh ... i was not be able to be grant for an early release desipt the fact that i am going to study and fulfill my dreams ... guess work is work .... anyway ... they called me up within 1 hours after i left the place and told me they had arrange an interview tomorrow for me .... happy and nervous LOL cos the gal had said that they will test on language and stuffs ... my language had failed me this few weeks LOL mix guy with gals , he with she and mis-prounce words here and there .... quite scared too if i screw this up cos i SUCK big time at interview and i really need this placing ... cos i know it's gonna to cause me alot ... in $ but .... finger crossed !!! tomorrow will be the big day ... WISH ME LUCK !!!
